Paige & Max’s wedding was a flower-filled weekend full of love and color. When Paige approached me to plan this wedding for her, I knew that their emphasis would be on their loved ones and ensuring they were able to enjoy the bounty of their surroundings.
Paige & Max’s color palette stemmed from happy summer pastels, and gradually transformed into something more vibrant, taking inspiration from the wildflowers that dot the landscape in Aspen, Colorado. Our vision was a sailcloth tent with the peak of Maroon Bells setting the background, and the rest of our design began to take shape.
Some of my favorite details from their wedding included a flower-market seating display where guests “picked” seed packets from a floral and citrus display denoting their seating arrangements, a classic corvette that the bride’s father brought up from Texas to escort his daughter down the aisle with, as well as a homemade ravioli station set out in the field, and personalized thank-you notes from the couple to their guests at each and every place setting.
Guests adorned their best floral attire and sipped blue “Zuzu-rita” cocktails and enjoyed live action stations in the meadow during cocktail hour, and danced under string lights in our sailcloth tent until the night’s end.
