When Meagan came to me with the vision of an elegant, garden wedding in the heart of Dallas, I knew to look no further than Marie Gabrielle. A venue set in a beautiful grove of trees, nestled privately above the city streets in the soft glow of bistro lights.
In planning and designing their wedding, we drew inspiration from French architecture, Marie Antoinette and modern touches to create a twist on the classic Dallas wedding. My mind dreamt of orchids, patterned dish-ware, acrylic ghost chairs and soft candlelight to create this juxtaposed feel that came together in perfect harmony.
Marie Gabrielle is one of our favorite venues in Dallas, Texas. It features a lush grove of trees and a reflecting pond where guests can wander and mingle. Cocktail hour is set on a modern walkway, with a large chess set hidden in an alcove, evoking an “Alice in Wonderland” feeling.
When the weather is right, the grove creates a magical “Secret garden” feeling where guests can dine under string lights and dance the night away. We brought in In-N-Out for their late night snack which guests absolutely loved; complete with paper hats to add to the festivity.
Thank you to the incredible team of vendors who helped us produce this amazing weekend!
